Women farmers and ranchers are essential to Idaho's

agricultural industries and communities.

In 2019, research and extension faculty from the University of Idaho were awarded a four-year grant from the USDA National Food and Agriculture Institute to conduct research and education that supports the success of women in agriculture in our state. The Women Farmers and Ranchers on the Rise in Idaho project is working to better understand the challenges and opportunities facing the state's women in agriculture.

This page offers information and resources about the project and features upcoming programs and opportunities for women in agriculture in Idaho.
