Northwest & Rocky Mountain Regional Food Business Center
Connecting, Strengthening and Scaling Food Supply Chains in the Northwest and Rocky Mountain Region
In September 2022, USDA announced $400 million to fund the USDA Regional Food Business Center initiative. Twelve organizations were selected to lead efforts in their region and together serve all areas of the country. The USDA Regional Food Business Centers provide localized assistance to access a variety of markets to drive economic opportunities across the region.
Unfortunately, CSU received a modification letter from the USDA in July 2025 requesting that the Northwest Rocky Mountain Regional Food Business Center cease any new activities under this award with a timeline to wrap up current programs by September 15th.
Fortunately, we were given an exception for the Business Builder awards. The Northwest and Rocky Mountain USDA Regional Food Business Center (RFBC) was fortunate to reward over 130 farms and food enterprises with Business Builder grants, and will remain open to honor those commitments.
