Welcome to the Inland Northwest Artisan Grains™ forth podcast series
"Linking the Grain Chain"

University of Idaho Extension is excited to announce that the Inland Northwest Artisan Grains podcast is coming back for a 4th season!

Throughout our last 3 seasons, we’ve spoken with growers, bakers, maltsters and brewers that are championing artisan grains in their communities. Throughout this time, guests have reiterated that local food movements don’t happen in a vacuum, they’re reliant on community investment and a culture of collaboration.  In this fourth season, we will be inviting individuals involved in local and regional food networks to share their stories with us of how they work to connect producers, processers, and sellers along the farm to table spectrum.

Join us as we talk with members from local food hubs, business centers, and artisan grains networks from around the country, and those who benefit from these resources.

Follow along as hosts Ali Schultheis and Colette DePhelps explore the artisan grains movement and why growing for regional malthouses has grown in popularity amongst INW farmers.

The "Linking the Grain Chain" podcast series is produced and released by
University of Idaho Extension and sponsored by
The Northwest and Rocky Mountain Regional Food Business Center.
